I did this oncein a very busy pub. I was walking along a corridor trying to find the loos and a familiar girl walked towards me. Every time I moved to one side she moved to the same one. I even said "excuse me". It wasn't until I got to the mirror that I realised it was me. And there were loads of people in the corridor laughing.
Not my finest moment.

HmmI'm sure interior designers put mirrors in places like that on purpose, specifically to cause this kind of event.
