Glad I'm not the only one that gets all wound up about this.
We now have a change management team who handle RFCs (Requests for change).
I've repeatedly pointed out that the acronym is already taken, been in use for ages and that assigning it a new meaning will only confuse things, but will they listen? Will they fuck. The bastards.
I've even pointed out the humurous ones like RFC1149, but it's like taking to a brick wall.
