This is a question Amazing displays of ignorance

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "My dad's friend told us there's no such thing as gravity - it's just the weight of air holding us down". Tell us of times you've been floored by abject stupidity. "Whenever I read the Daily Express" is not a valid answer.

I suspect (hence the reason for my abuse)
he/she thinks they are funny, because when asked for a number for someone they just went "0123456789"

Literally. The "joke" is not that it is a digit short but that it obviously isn't the number the person wanted, as it's sequential.

Because, you know, when you politely ask for a number obviously you deserve abuse for not spotting such a piece of comedy GOLD.

I assumed it had been rendered as 0123456789 for privacy's sake, rather than posting someone's real number.

That's what I assumed as well. Oh well, lol good joke etc.

well, then there is no joke and no idiocy, which is even more pointless.
