This is a question Amazing displays of ignorance

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "My dad's friend told us there's no such thing as gravity - it's just the weight of air holding us down". Tell us of times you've been floored by abject stupidity. "Whenever I read the Daily Express" is not a valid answer.

When I worked for a popular greetings cards retailer several years ago
A girl I worked with (known for being a little young for her age) told me what shooting stars were...Apparently when stars 'die' they fall from the sky, so what we see are dying stars falling through space. And her Mum told her that, so it's definitely true.

I'd love to live in her world.

To see the world through their eyes
would be, perhaps, one of the most enlightening experiences.

I do wonder what the world looks like from the perspectives of the staggeringly dumb, dim and dense. I do wonder what goes on in their minds, what it would be like to (temporarily) take their places, think their thoughts, live their lives, and just be them.

TV would seem a lot less shit, to begin with.
'Flowers for Algernon' probably comes pretty close to describing it.
