The area around the Cleveland Way is pretty goodThe coastline between Staithes and Scarborough is rugged, scenic and wonderful, with tall cliffs, woodlands and great pubs. Ravenscar is a particular favourite of mine. The cliffs are full of fossils (130 million year old ammonites). You can do a really nice walk between Ravenscar and Robin Hood's Bay. RHB isn't that touristy, actually.
The moorland around Rosebery Topping is stunning, too.

I walked a good part of the Cleveland Way many years ago, Saltburn to Staithes was good.
I do love the rugged coast around there
