DoorUntil I was 8, I lived in a split level flat on the basement and ground floor. I was absolutely terrified of the door leading out of the basement to the steps outside.
I'm sure I was scared of it anyway but the nightmare I remember having where the door grew nasty grasping fingers that tried to grab me didn't help much.
