Pubs, hmmm.There are pubs and there are bars, neither of which can hold a candle to a good Brit pub. They're ok though and some are very nice or atmospheric.
Some are just scabby biker hangouts or full of angry wannabe cowboys looking to batter someone who isn't an angry cowboy just like them.
Of course this may not be your thing at all. If you love sports bars with non-stop hockey/baseball/Merkin football on giant screens then we are awash with the fuckers.
Yes I do miss English pubs.

If you wanted a drink after a satisfying day of outdoor activity you should have packed it beforehand, the nearest beverage dispenser is an hours drive away.
