I've been on the other end of thisStopped a couple of guys in Newcastle to ask where a bar I had never been to while sober was.
I started with an 'Excuse me lads?' and was cut off with a 'Sorry mate' and they tried to avoid me. When I told them I was after directions they stopped and looked bashful at each other.
I'm not a student, I'm a bloody accountant and was wearing shirt, jeans and some converse trainers. (Trainers pointed out cause the price of them now is ridiculous, if you see a tramp wearing them they are NOT hard up.)
