I get that all the time...
I haven't heard the brain malfunction theory before; I suppose it's possible. But I can tell you that I have made weird predictions in front of witnesses when I am delirious with fatigue and rambling; and they will come true months or years later. The predictions are weird because they usually only affect me or people I know, and usually have something to do with jobs or experiences that are completely mundane. I've had friends come back to me and say, "You know, you were spot on when you said 'the two of you will be moving to Oregon soon and you will have children together' or 'I will be driving the bus after a while'..." I don't even remember them very often until someone else points it out. So, I have no idea what's going on. It's a shame I can't get the winning lottery numbers though...
