Unexplained
Or should I say that too much was left unexplained
The series finale of Doctor Who tonight.
Why did Davros design a console that could control all the Daleks?
How did earth survive being transported back to where it should be?
And why did all the daleks stop what they were doing and look at the indian woman that fell over (My guess on this one is that the daleks present were thinking of the risk assesment forms they would have to fill in so were checking everything was ok before calling HR)
Im also planning on going to Catherine Tate and shouting remember the Doctor at her to see if her brain explodes

And why does Russell T Davies
insist on ending every bloody series with half an hour of sentimental crap?
Surely if the man had any sense of humour then during the scene where he abandons Billie Piper, he'd have had cybermen or the loch ness monster scuttling past in the background...

explanation
davros was also going to destroy the entire universe, which would leave the daleks without food, water or planet, plus would also have destroyed them as well (come on guys at bbc, simple physics). The unit that destroyed all of the daleks was just a mainframe which they managed to manipulate, like hackers do with computers, to overide the system and surge them till they blew up. he designed it because he is, as all evil genius' are, somewhat mentally challenged.
the earth survived, yet the journey would have a taken millions of years, must be something to do with the tardis.
the daleks were impressed by the undulating mediocrecy of the womans acting that they got distracted.
i would also like to do that to catherine tate, but only to see if somehow manages to close the gaping chasm in the front of her head!
overall though i liked the series! ;)
peace out!

And why do so many Russell T Davies episodes
get solved with some button pushing to make some unexplained technology happen?

gah!
the whole bloody planet should have had most of its surface ripped off, travelling at that speed! "oh, look, my potted fern fell over" doesn't quite cover it.
i would also like to see catherine tate's head explode. that's one noise coming from the vicinity of her mouth that i could happily live with.

earth survival
(not having watched the episode in question)
planets travel incredibly fast, all the time, (depending what you're using as a reference point) but the vacuum of space offers so little resistance that this isn't a problem. A problem would arise from extreme acceleration, however.
(apologies, I'm a physics student :)

Also, how did the Tardis door close by itself?
And when the Earth was moving why was everything shaking around like an earthquake? Why would objects on the surface move relative to each other?

I don't care
I could be pedantic but I enjoyed it. The thought of 2 David Tennants moe than makes up for any small niggles.
