I agreenot Coke, as I don't like it, but other soft drinks, like Irn Bru, and beer too.
Plastics can release VOCs into the liquid, tainting it, and likewise metal cans can release various things (probably not the metal, as they're coated to stop that) which make the drink taste different. Glass is pretty inert though.
