Cigarettes and matches missing?
Obviously this has less to do with dead ancestors disapproving of smoking, and more to do with the difficulty of obtaining fags on the Other Side of the Mortal Veil: they have to pinch them from the living. Proper cigarettes are preferred, since it's murder trying to make a roll-up with ectoplasm.

Around here the ghosts seem to help themselves to bottles of wine; at least, there always seem to be more empty bottles around than I remember drinking.
