some years ago (10 I think)some mates and I were working as website designers. We had a site for ourselves to practice our skills, but it also became a site where we could communicate with each other, post photos and caption them etc. we'd organise parties using it and generally let each other, and other mates know what events were going on.
we were working on some database driven stuff at the time, where you could log in and upload info and pics and suchlike.
We all then went off to uni to do various things and our site (getwrecked.com) got left to expire.
some years later and the conversation pretty much went "Fuck! we almost invented Facebook!"
