Scuffing your feet on snowy/frozen/damp grass also works quite wellI scuffed a stickman on the damp grass outside my halls at uni which lasted a few weeks surprisingly.
We went back for a 'reunion' a few years ago when it was snowy and as we were now grown up and mature drew a giant cock and balls on the grass outside the library.
I do like the fertiliser idea though.
