Hear, hear.Yet there must be some numpty muppets somewhere buying these things 'cause I'm pretty sure there are factories in China still churning these things out on a daily basis.
My manager @ work wanted to get them in (we've got fairly full-on infection control systems in place) took the RN, me & the clinical nurse about 1/2hr. to convince him of the utter pointlessness.
