I got the twist from The Sixth Sense fairly early onThe bit where he smashes the window where his wife works. I was 12 at the time, so the fact people were banging on about how good the twist was was, and still is, a complete mystery to me. I guess most people are just spasticated. Since then, I just switch off mentally when watching films, which sometimes leads to me missing or simply forgetting major plot points and getting lost. Like in Spawn, for example.
