Weird TraditionsTalking with a friend yesterday about school dinners, she suddenly said, "We had to march into the dining room behind the School Band... except on Thursdays." Since all of us were now staring, she qualified this with, "...on Thursdays there was no wind section. It was a tradition."
What weird stuff have you been made to do "because it's a tradition."

Whenever my sister and I......greet each other on the phone we do it in either one of two ways.
Sister who made the call: 'Yo mamaaaaaaa!'
Other sister: 'Your daddy smells of biscuits!'
or
Sister who made call: 'Ooooh REALLLLLLLY?!'
Other sister: 'Up your butt with a coconut!'
It is sad, seeing as we are 26 and 24. I still have no idea how it started, but we have been greeting each other like that for about 3 years now...
