Weird TraditionsTalking with a friend yesterday about school dinners, she suddenly said, "We had to march into the dining room behind the School Band... except on Thursdays." Since all of us were now staring, she qualified this with, "...on Thursdays there was no wind section. It was a tradition."
What weird stuff have you been made to do "because it's a tradition."

Shouting at train stationsWhen we were kids and we went to Cornwall on holiday, everytime we drove through the town/village/place Penryn and went past the train station we would have to shout "Penryn, Self drive, drive youself". Something to do with what the train people used to shout...in the olden days...when my dad was a kid...and used to go trainspotting there...twat.
