Well you know that well-worn themewhere an insane supervillain builds a doomsday device so that, with the push of a button, it destroys mankind, the planet, the universe etc. leaving everyone dead but for himself?
While not having the technical capability of achieving the logistics, planning, organisation, designing, construction and arming said device, he'd be the first to press the button if he was let within 500 yards of it 'just because it annoyed some people'.
