Gameplay wise it's a pretty good first person shooter.
Some of the weapons are a bit gay for my taste, and it's quite repetitive, but it plays well enough.

Almosphere wise it's unsurpassed. I've never really been unsettled by a game before (possible exception of Silent Hill about 7 years ago or whenever it was), but I got the fear a couple of times playing Doom 3.

i dont usually bother with games to be honest
but i got caught up in all the hype, i havent heard much bad about it so will look forward to giving it a shot.
