one can believe that they will change. It's called love - i.e. an act of knowing self-deception and blindness to the inevitabilities of life. Plus, don't forget, good sex - first I'd had in 14 years. That counts for a lot. Plus we did actually have fun together as long as we stayed away from "real life"...
