I can see how it's clunky compared to a streamlined chat system (which it was never designed to be)
and a bulletin board for individual topics and things.

It was just a copy of the original board, but without pictures. If you stick around and see how the regulars post you can follow
conversations down in chevrons and across to the other side of the page.

I suppose some of us have made tens of thousands of posts on here (I'm on 65k or something) so we are so used to this format that we like it.
