Had a 10-hour stopover in Bangkok Airport once.
Beforehand, I thought at least we can have a few drinks and some food, but oh no, it was Buddha Day, so everything was closed and you couldn't buy alcohol. Buddha never gave a fuck about people drinking every other day of the year.
