# psst. The Ring wasn't real y'know...
(, Mon 17 Oct 2011, 23:27, archived)
# Still, my heart skips a beat whenever Moggy posts some really terrifying shit on here.
I get the feeling I'm going to be dragged into my computer by a hand with a cut finger any time soon.
(, Mon 17 Oct 2011, 23:29, archived)
# that only happens if you repeat the words "tentacle rape" into a mirror 20 times

# I'm so glad I missed her "other" pictures.
(, Mon 17 Oct 2011, 23:39, archived)
# I would go try, but I've got some work to do.
Plus I might, you know, get tentacle raped.

# I thought that linked video was funny
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:08, archived)
# Man was that video disturbing.
It really was like stepping into Moggy's mind (despite not being her work of course).
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:10, archived)
# that video was comedy
compared to this

done by the same guy :D
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:20, archived)
# a bit dark
but i thought it was great
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:31, archived)
# Wow...
That, symbolically, was pretty fucking heavy. Fuck.

Like a loss of childhood innocence, or something.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:35, archived)
# you read the comments too?
my fav:
"I find this easy to masturbate to"
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:40, archived)
# I read a few, yeah.
A lot seem to miss the point, but hey, it's Japan, and hey, it's Youtube.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:45, archived)
# i still don't understand the magnitude of kerfuffle
that moggy's work has created.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 1:07, archived)
# I think it's just a case of cultures clashing; her ideals are far more outlandish and risque than what most people see fit.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 1:22, archived)
# we've all done some risque shit:
risque old school sick

and wouldn't it be a fluffier place if the 'hide' or 'ignore' options were given due consideration?
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 1:27, archived)
# Hahaha!
I like it a bit close to the collar here, but sometimes it does go a bit too far.

It's not like I can be offended much, it's just when someone posts something quite risque, it often feels forced and unnecessary.

EDIT: Also, time for me to go. Nighty night!
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 1:33, archived)
# Holy fuck...
Well, I'll sleep well tonight... O_o
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:53, archived)
# I liked it too
it was a satanic cookery show...

also this thing was good too.. headfucked but really well crafted :)
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 1:56, archived)
# Although I did actually get a nosebleed after watching it.
(, Mon 17 Oct 2011, 23:33, archived)
# I'm still not sure which version I prefer; Japanese or American.
Both are pretty good, but have their own little advantages and disadvantages, like the CGI in the American version is a lot spookier.
(, Mon 17 Oct 2011, 23:36, archived)
# I found that the VHS tape in the film shit me up more than the actual film itself.
The American one, I mean. Because I'm a Philistine, haven't seen the Japanese version and therefore don't appreciate real cinema or something like that.
(, Mon 17 Oct 2011, 23:57, archived)
# The tape is indeed disturbing; it's got a legitimate curse feeling about it.
When it comes to comparing versions of films, I usually side with the original, but with The Ring, I really don't know. Likewise with The Grudge; both versions are good for different reasons.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:03, archived)
# japanese grudge was better for me.
mostly because i could hear the staff chatting away in the room behind the screen most of the way through the us version.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:11, archived)
# One thing that bothered me about the American Grudge is
I must have seen about 10 Japanese people in that film, and LOADS of Americans... in TOKYO!
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:30, archived)
# Weirdly, I though along similar lines for the whole 'Let the Right One In' and 'Let Me In' thing.
I saw the Swedish one first and just thought the Americans would massively nuts it up and make it shit for their version. Turns out it was quite good. Well, I thought the kids acting were excellent, if nothing else.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:12, archived)
# Oooh
Reminds me of 'Sporloos' or 'The Vanishing' there's a fucked up slow burner if ever I've seen one.

Pre-ninja: It's French/Dutch not Swiss Swedish, but you just made me think of it anyway. Films in original language anyday for me, up to and including Ju-On/Ringu. Fuck me they have some imagery that lurks in your subconscious for a long time afterwards, unlike hollywood gubbins that you yawn and forget.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:25, archived)
# I haven't seen either of those but probably should have.
In my defence, I do wank a lot so, you know...priorities.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:31, archived)
# Pfft
It is hard to pay attention to subtitles with double vision. No wonder the Channel 4 triangle thing didn't last long.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:36, archived)
# channel 4 triangle?
where tv shows inexplicably disappear?
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:41, archived)
# No you're thinking of channel 5
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:43, archived)
# No no, that's not TV shows, that's brain cells.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:44, archived)
# But where else would Steven Seagal peddle his wares.
Have you no HUMANISM! Poor Steve. At least let him think people are watching.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:52, archived)
# The day he can get through a line without having his failing fat encrusted heart giving him wind, I'll listen.
Also, I noticed that too. Why is it always Seagal films on 5?
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:54, archived)
# Hahaha
That's a lovely image.
"Steve, we need you to do a forward flip followed by a roundhouse kick"
"Ok, can you pull my finger first" *cough* *cough* *wheeze*
"Fuck it where's the stunt double?"
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 0:58, archived)
# I'm almost certain he has stunt doubles just for walking now.
(, Tue 18 Oct 2011, 1:04, archived)
# he doesn't look very passionate...
also, i've just been looking through some old images and other shit i've deposited here, and found that a link to an animation with me in it now links to this... tinypic.com/view.php?pic=344e2di&s=5
i'm pretty sure i didn't look like that three years ago

and i found this, which is just ridiculous
(, Mon 17 Oct 2011, 23:54, archived)
