# Tag your images!
I've been meaning for ages to write up something about how poeple who post images on the board should tag them.

But fuck it. I'm not going to write that feature, but I'm going to post on the board now and hopefully people will remember the URL and pass it on to other boarders.

B3ta is special. It's fucking amazing actually. I didn't realise how powerful and influential it would be when we created it.

B3ta images end up all around the world. They end up in peoples inboxes. They even end up in my wifes email.

Tag them!

Trust me guys. Think about it from the receivers point of view. They get a funny image in their email and go 'oooh. funny thing. isn't the internet amazing. I wonder who makes this stuff?'

Please please please put your name on them. SO people can google it. You are throwing away such a powerful mechansim to make yourself well-known, get work, and get respect from the world.

Obviously I'd like you to stick b3ta on the images as well coz the extra promotion is always nice. So if you can be arsed stick in small print 'monkeybits / b3ta.com' on your images, or if you run your own site just, 'monkeybits.com' - that's fine too.

Feel free to ignore my post.

and a tip for those using photoshop; make your tag, select it and create a custom brush out of it [edit/define_brush]. That way it's always easily available and you can draw the tag with the paintbrush in no time at all. peasy.
