I will always remember the term parralax from playing Shadow of the Beast on my Amiga 500 back in the day
as at the time everyone was wanking on about how many different levels of P scrolling it had

I would like to know,
which programs do people use to do their fancy animations? Do tell.

i did this using after effects mostly
which is a bit like posh flash
(
mutated monty, Wed 15 Nov 2006, 11:30,

I see.
Whenever I do an animation, I do it by creating a GIMP layer at a time. It gets complicated when you need to use lots of layers to make a layer. It's more time consuming than stop-motion animation.
This took ages:

I wondered if people were using packages like flash that you program to create intermediate frames etc. instead of painstakingly creating each frame themselves.

This took @ 7 hours!
