They're both pop shows for manufactured guitar bands.

he was up for a "hero" award at the Brits
which seemed a bit rich, but then thought, he's a greasy little twat with a bad drug habit and no discernible musical talent, yet he gets given loads of money and gets to knob kate moss; whereas i'm working for the man and have a big overdraft, so one of us is doing something wrong...
