Stimpey's World Trade Center Collapse Fiasco

That reminds me of a post I made in response to a page with lots of paranoid discussion about the collapse of the World Trade Center collapse being caused by demolition experts using thermite:
“You wouldn't believe this but I was actually on one of the two planes that flew into the South Tower. Luckily I had the window open and my seatbelt wasn’t buckled up – I was miraculously thrown clear and landed softy on a descending lift. I dusted myself down, walked free and continued reading the Da Vinci Code. It was only when a friend phoned saying "watch the news!" did I realise I had been in a building laced with explosives and thermite moments before it blew up. It was a lucky escape, I can tell you!”
