I've always wanted to stand at the end of an escalator, wait for a fat person to get half way on the escalator then hit the kill switch..and run

Fat people look more jolly on escalators, because the floor is moving for them.

I've always thought
That falling down an upwards-moving escalator at the right pace could result in a perpetual motion stair-falling.
That would suck ass.

Could it be that
at a station in a business district, the sole escalator is set to go upward in the morning and switched to downward in the afternoon to be of maximum use to the majority of travellers? She perhaps has a colleague diverting people at the bottom of the escalator allowing it to empty so she can change the direction?
Also, what a big fat fatty.
