the link takes to a schedule. But when viewing the first article on it, there's way more on YouTube. They also seemed a bit biased. Not that I don't think Mayweather will win, but it's probs best not to be too cocky.

I'm in no doubt that McGregor is a massively talented fighter in his field. But he's still an amateur boxer by all accounts.

the best tactic in MMA is to get your opponent on the ground any way you can then punch them loads of times in the face or strangle them.

Not sure that is OK in a boxing match.

A better comparison is a crossfit athlete, going up against a pound for pound pro weightlifter, sprinter, marathon runner, swimmer etc. With enough time to study and practice they could compete in a particular discipline. Thusly so can conor. Add in the fact he's a proper bad ass who doesn't give a fuck, he could do some damage.

This is a normal post You're forgetting about the years and years Mayweather has spent perfecting his technique.
I see your comparison, but it's not particularly accurate.
Mayweather has spent his life executing strikes in accordance with the rules set out by the IBF. He's spent thousands of hours honing his skill and aiming to get to the very top of his game.
McGregor is a top class MMA combatant, sure. But he has to stay within the rules sanctioned by the IBF, and that's where his major handicap will lie.

That, and he's going to be getting punched in the face by somebody who has spent their life exclusively punching people in the face. There's really no comparison at all.

In my opinion, Manny won that fight. But if Manny can't take Mayweather down, how on earth does McGregor intend to?
Pacquiao is probably the best fighter to compare McGregor to in terms of aggression and speed. But again, he's someone who's been doing actual boxing all his life.

and as i understand it mcgregor's forte isn't punching so i genuinely believe he'll have a hard time hitting him let alone landing anything that mayweather doesn't roll. i'd love to see mayweather beaten but this isn't the man to do it unfortunately
