He's not the only person that's been arrested in connection to the investigation.
His solicitors have issued a statement saying he was in the USA at the time of the incident. I find this sour grapes and anti American inspired witch hunt rather distasteful, and quite possibly completely unjustified. You jokingly cite the fact that he is a rich, white American and therefore somehow fair game for public vilification and humiliation. Ho ho ho. As with all these type of stories if it was him the best and first thing to do is turn yourself in say it was a dreadful accident (I was blinded by the sun, had sweat in my eye, was looking at my time) offer the woman some compensation and he will get a warning. Now because he as denied it and seems to be deleting social media history it will just get worse especially with the B3ta rozzers on his tail.
