This is a link post The Most Terrifying Painting in The World Ever.
Right, so last week I was in a hotel on one of the Orkney islands where I found this piece of pure horror hanging in pride of place on the wall.
Comments and suggestions are welcomed.

But it wasn't necessarily related.

It's the scale of the picture that bothers me the most. The two cats in the background look to be of Cloverfield proportions.
