When I consider the 'questionable' music of my late 90's adolescence, there were quite a few that burned bright, then fell by the wayside..
Acts like Korn, Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson. The usual teen angst unfocused, slightly anaemic aggression. However, there are a few acts from that time that still warrant attention, well into my thirties now, and this is why:
TLDR: New NIN lol

They/he went a bit downtempo for a while, but he's recently been giving it the beans again.

Better than spending his time live-streaming videos of his livestock on Twitter
Every fucking day!
Seriously, that's pretty much all his Twitter feed is. That and "At the local curry house" posts.

Happy candles!
Loved him up to The Fragile, after that I've found everything to be a bit 'meh'.
Will listen to this after I've got through this psy-step compilation :o)

'Broken' was peak NIN
At first I thought it was a video about Jeff Minter. Imagine my disappointment when I realised it was NIN. I gave it a listen, I really wanted to be impressed, and the world is better with NIN than no NIN, but it just didn't grab me. Now about to google Minter to see what he is all about these days...
