Last time I took a train it was during the apocalyptic snowflakes on the tracks period
and periodically a male ACT-OR type voice went 'Emergency, Emergency, would all members of the public please leave the station, immediately' followed by a Star Trek style siren.
Everyone just stood waiting for their train, as they had been for the previous 2 hours...
