This is a question Complaining

I like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

Top tip
Need to complain about the job centre (which will more than likely happen)?

Don't think they responded to your original letter in a timely manner (also quite likely)?

Simply write to them again. This time, however, include this as the finishing sentence:

'If I do not receive a response from yourselves concerning this matter within (insert relevant period of time here), I shall contact my MP concerning this matter.'

does that work?

I doubt it.
The MP only has the job on a term-by-term basis and the Job centre staff probably have contracts Meaning they ae only sacked if they are caught red-handed murdering their manager.

It does.
I was advised to do that by someone who works for the job centre (not the one I had the complaint about) and she said the managers at the place hate having to deal with MP's and will move heaven and earth to prevent it from happening.

I threatened to go to my MP: complaint was dealt with within 3-4 days. Someone else threatened the same thing: problem sorted all monies due to them paid in full.
