This is a question My Biggest Disappointment

Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."

Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.

What's disappointed you lot?

Remembered the biggest one of all
Babylon Zoo.

Remember the spaceman song from the Levi's add, circa 1996? WE all thought it was some cool dance track and rushed out to buy it. That was my biggest disappointment.

"Spacemaaaaan...."
Yep, the first thirty seconds of it was ace.

The the rest of it was shite. Typical Levis ad music, the same criticism could be levelled at Flat Beat too.

Back to slating Babylon Zoo, never has so much post career obscurity been so deserved.

(edit) Not strictly true... B*Witched, Chesney Hawkes, John Major and Fuzzbox spring to mind also.

Sadly
Chesney Hawkes is still going, mostly student may balls, but he's done a lot of music production stuff as well, so the cunt's still making money.

Babylon zoo I went to see on TOTP and have rarely felt so cheated by a song.

John Major
wasn't a disappointment. I knew he was going to be crap.

Close relatives of mine know him personally. They were most surprised when they heard he'd even made Chancellor, let alone PM.

i still love that song
first music i bought, the tape single (the other songs were crap though) is still with me, it's outlasted a dozen tape players and i still listen to it in the car
I loved his ego boasting about his next single though, where did that go i wonder? That was the real dissapointment

THIS!

Just out of interest, does anyone know if there's a remix with just the dancey-bit and not the grungey bit. I actually quite like grunge but I'd like to hear a dance-only version of that song.

my first album I ever owned
was the cassette version of their album.

Put me off paying for music for months, so it did.
