This is a question Famous people I hate

Michael McIntyre, says our glorious leader. Everyone loves Michael McIntyre. Even the Daily Mail loves Michael McIntyre. Therefore, he must be a git. Who gets on your nerves?

Hint: A list of names, possibly including the words 'Katie Price' and 'Nuff said' does not an interesting answer make

The Royal Family.
I pay for them to enjoy a luxurious, multi-million pound lifestyle.

Has Zara Phillips ever given me a blow-job? Has she bollocks.

Has she ever given YOU a blow-job? Has she bollocks.

At least with other slebs they're paid for privately. I pay for some, and see bugger all off them except for a comedy car crash and the occasional, desperately misguided affair.

Quite frankly, I feel short-changed.

I’m in agreement with you...
Then there’s the argument that paying for a royal family gives Britain a ‘brand image.’
This ‘brand image’ promotes tourism.
Tourists come over and spend lots of money, therefore paying for our royal family... and some.

Something stinks.

So did I...
...but I didn't like it.

Kind regards,

You tried to blow me when I was in the Army!

At the risk...
...of coming across as a Royal apologist (I'm not), the Civil List actually turns a profit, meaning that they don't cost us anything.

I'd happily do away with their involvement in our political system though. And if I cared about religion I'd probably be cross about them being at the top of the C of E as well. But the money angle's a poor one, they actually do fairly well there.

Do go on.
How come they turn a profit?
(, Tue 9 Feb 2010, 14:11, closed)
Tourism?
Just a thought.

That's not the family
that's the buildings.

EG Versailles.

I don't see how the royals earn any money, other than from the land that they, er ... forcibly removed from commoners.

There is a theory that they would generate more in tourism...
...if we shot the fuckers, stuffed them and put them on display in Madame Tussauds.

Viva la revolucion.
(, Tue 9 Feb 2010, 16:26, closed)
I'd pay to see that.

See - I was right.
