blue milk has ruined my tea
what's ruining your Saturday morning?
and yes I know it's early but I've been up with the babba since 6

blue = full fat
green = semi skimmed
red = skimmed
just the lids that are coloured! Babba is too sweet, crawling all over the place, first tooth is coming through and she loves singing to herself.
Having said that I think I've just got a swiff of something in her nappy...

oh. That's okay then. I thought the milk had turned blue because it was old and lumpy.
That's really cute. Except for the nappy thing.
Your day still sounds better than mine - I've been working on this stupid assignment for the last two weeks and it's fucking annoying the shit out of me. It just won't write itself.

ok, all clean and dressed for the day
Got my parents coming for lunch tomorrow as they've just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, so I'll be cooking for that I think and putting up a mirror and cleaning! Good times!
I'm glad I've done all my academic studies, it never really suited me, I more hands on really

Nothing ruining it so far...
...Apart from the weather - when will it stop frickin raining?
I've watered my tomato, chilli and sweet pepper plants - they're all indoors until they go in the greenhouse that I've yet to build.
Had the weather been better I would have been tidying the garden and sorting out the garage (I know, rock & roll) but now I'll just be faffing about the house until it's time to start drinking.
Anyone heard the new Tenacious D album? It's quite good!

I thought I might take a look at Diablo 3
only to find my battlenet account's been hacked and my security questions changed, meaning I have to send them photo ID if I ever want to get into it again. I'm just not fussed enough at the moment.
On the plus side, I have croissants and coffee to look forward to. On the downside, a mountain of washing up and the hoovering. Drinks tonight, but I might bail.

So far, so good here in b3th land.
I appear to have finally stopped throwing up, which is nice. I'm still in pain, but less pain than yesterday, so I think the antibiotics might be kicking in, which is also nice.
On the other hand, having spent yesterday only sipping water, I now have a caffeine withdrawal headache. This is less nice, but easily fixed.
Babies are actually rather cute when they're clean and fresh and happy. They only spoil it when they start drooling everywhere and grizzling.

if it makes you feel any better
when I had an impacted wisdom tooth they gave me penicillin to reduce the infection/swelling before they could take it out. I am allergic to penicillin. I was Not Well. And then I insisted they take the fucking tooth out anyway even though the swelling hadn't really gone down enough. It was possibly the least fun I've ever had, and that includes breaking my leg three times in one go. But if your antibiotics are working then you'll be just fine!

I'm allergic to amoxicillin, which is what they usually use
so they had to give me something else. I'm back in on Monday morning to have it properly looked at. It's only half a tooth and half filling, so there's a chance it might have to come out.

Hey apeface.
Babies are ace aren't they? My mate Josie, she's almost a year old. She can do all kinds of cool shit, like clapping, cheering, cackling. She's almost standing, and bum-shuffles instead of crawling. She's going to love roller-coasters when she's older. How's your sprog?

We are really lucky as she is really smiley and friendly and rewarding. Some babies give nothing back when you chat to them or play with them, mini ape is all smiles and giggles!
I wish she wouldn't get up at 6 though O_O

i used to put food colouring in my milk
when I was a student so no one else would use it. Blue and green were most effective at keeping away thieving housemates, yellow just made me want banana milk.
rain is making saturday less good. Using my cute egg cup for the first time is making it better

I was quite poorly yesterday, only a little bit residual wobbliness, now, which probably means I shouldn't drink at the party tonight, but I might anyway.

Being woken up my brother half hour ago.
I know it's not his fault, he's used to having the place to himself on Saturday mornings. But I've been here a week, I'm not that forgettable. I don't need to hear house music at deafening volumes at this time of day. Or any time of day.

Morning all
A day of various sport and coffee, starting with watching the cricket. My first run in a while last night seemed ok and I didn't drop dead so that was good
A may go all la-de-da and have smoked salmon and scrambled egg for lunch

It's been a good morning so far.
Massive cooked breakfast, then I bought a copy of The Star and The Sun. The Star, free Health Lottery ticket, The Sun, Lego Batman figure. It's been 20 mins now, and I'm stuck. A colleague has pointed out that it's intended for ages 5-12, so that's probably why.
And both papers for breasts. I like breasts.
Edit. The Sun does not have breasts on a Saturday apparently. And The Star has a picture of "sexy Colleen", Potato-head's missus, in a bikini. Scary. Very scary.
Further edit. Apparently Carol Vorderman's arse is 770 square inches, but Kim Kadashians is 858. You just don't find this news in The Independent.

I mean, what else could he mean by telling me he's started drinking cider?
He's not even drinking real cider, it's that shitty Stella Artois stuff.

My wife's nephew's birthday party has ruined my Saturday.
Plus the fact that she's taken her mother out for the afternoon means that I've had to be the one to bring the kids down.
Plus the fact that her nephew is an ill-disciplined little shit.
I'm going to the pub when this is over.

So we ordered the shiny new ipad on Monday, and we were assured it would be there in 2-3 days. Then the mong who took our order put it on the wrong account so we couldn;'t even have our receipt, because he needed it to phone a grown-up the next day to fic his mistake.
Today we phoned up to see where it was, and head office had no record of our order ever being made. mr b3th went down there to kick up shit, and the manager apologised, then offered to go to their Bristol store to pick one up for us. All well and good, but he's not back in wpork till Monday, so I can't have my lovely new toy until then.
tl;dr - PC World are a shower of idiots.

I have done very little so far today. I'm putting together a shopping list while I watch the championship playoff via internet magic. I watched the Avengers yesterday in a little cinema on Mile End Road, it was really very good. I'm strongly tempted to go see The Raid next, that looks like a nice brainless action movie.
