I expect to have a hangover on Sunday. What are your recommended cures?

Altalt: best app you can recommend?

Worcestershire sauce or roast beef and mustard crisps are the best.
Whenever I have a proper hangover I just stay in bed all day. Works for me.

Walks.
Helps if it's cold. I always walk down Jesmond Dene on Sundays. The river walk is aces. Then at the bottom there's a pen full of alpacas, one of whom is called Gary. He's not there anymore and I'm genuinely a bit gutted. I've pulled two girls talking about Gary, no word of a lie.

Jesmond Dene is cool
They have goats
(, Fri 22 Jun 2012, 11:33, Reply)
Goats can do one.
It annoys me Gary is gone. He was my in with girls. The replaced him with a llama for a while, now there's nothing there. Apparently otters live in the river but I've never seen any.

As is the Accu Weather app, if only for the funny warnings it gives you like 'hair frizz risk' and whether it's suitable to go out skiing. So far in London it's always been 'poor' to go skiing. I'm not sure why. Score! Is fun as well.

Two pints of water before bed
One when you get up, and a massive fryup with all the trimmings. Fried tomato, bread, three rashers of bacon, three sausages, two fried eggs and a helping of beans usually does the trick.

Also, you won't need to eat for the rest of the day.

If you're feeling really ropey, look for something called diarolyte which will restore any wonky blood salt and electrolyte levels in your bloodstream. Also, tramadol. Best painkillers ever.

dialoryte is v.good, is for dehydration so works on hangovers. Blackcurrant one is a bit sickly tho.

I've still got some sainsburys stuff from when I had the runs a while back
Very good for hangovers I've found.

Tea, 2 sugars, and marmite on toast
Enjoy them, then just relax for about half an hour. Clears me up every time.

Alt: Salt & Vinegar

Does the marmite make you vomit up any remaining alcohol in your system?

(, Fri 22 Jun 2012, 12:19, Reply)
No, for it is delicious
