Cries and blames the internet for inherent stupid.
Oh BK, I was going to say in another thread, but can't remember which one it is now, your author who speaks to his characters is bindun.
www.imdb.com/title/tt0420223/
And Stephen King did it as well with the character George Stark in The dark half. No reason why you couldn't do another though, as both of those were awesome :)

I did kind of have The Dark Half in mind actually.
I was more inspired though by Deconstructing Harry, where Woody Allen keeps bumping into his characters. I liked that film and thought it was quite clever:)

Did anyone just watch Doctor Who? Why did Catherine Tate wait until the last bloody episode to be good?
Great finish to the RTD era.

That they'll be replacing the doctor again after this season's over? I don't watch it, but my nephews don't shut up about it.
If so I vote Eddie Izzard as the Dr

David Tennant is staying on for at least the next year.
Let's hope so - he's the best Doctor yet.

For Doctor Who? Surely not. That would put me off, I think.
I'd be interested, as DiT says, to find out who the new companion's to be though.

I've never seen any of the 'new' Dr Who stuff.
Am I allowed to stay? What about if I promise to watch it next series?

I watched Doctor Who during the Tom Baker era, and gradually lost interest after Colin Baker and Peter Davidson. But since David Tennant took over, I've become quite a fan.
Even Catherine Tate was good this episode. But that's her time over with the Doc. But she did save the universe, so that's handy.
Of course you're allowed to stay, clendrix.
Unless of course you're a Dalek

I've never used flickr to host photos, so I'm not that familiar with it. But CHCB's showed up OK, so I blame the Daleks.

I am not a dalek. I don't know Davros - I've never even met his grandad.

but if you go to a bash, you will meet Davros's Grandad.
But not the grandson, because he (apparently) died in space earlier tonight.

Davros was on the Dalek ship when it was blown up. But this has happened before and he escaped. So he's not necessarily dead. Although all of the Daleks are.
As for who of the Doctor's lot died, well, it was a bit of a swizz. The Doc managed to regenerate another version of himself which was half Timelord, half human, so he went off to the parallel universe with Rose, who would look after him and they would live happily ever after. But because he was half human and with only one heart, he would die eventually, so this was how the prophecy was fulfilled.
Donna's memory was wiped because she became half Timelord too, but couldn't handle it. So she sort of died too, in that she could have no memory of being with the Doctor.
Good stuff though.

was when the Doctor was about to wipe her memory. She was good as the Doctor too.
Also, Freema in Torchwood much?
AND: Bernard Cribbins FTW.

I mean, Freema is yummy but she really, really can't act.
Besides, Torchwood has Eve Myles. OK, so she's only pretty if she keeps her gob closed - but on the other side she acts well AND you believe that she could kick an alien arse.
*prays Torchwood season 3 is less 'carry on Torchwood'*

isn't that bad. And her yumminess does make up for it.
I've never seen Torchwood. Is Eve the Welsh one who was in Doctor Who tonight?

But both pale in comparison to Billie. *drools*
Anyway, Eve (or Gwen) is the Welsh one, yes.

I'd rather have Freema than Billie.
Not that it's really a choice I'm ever going to have to make!
