Industry manufactured 'boy bands' that merely perform songs written for them or covers and don't play instruments either wouldn't usually be considered decent bands, I don't think.

Well given that you are both bent and deaf, the only chance you'd have is in a boy band I'd imagine, although your errr 'unique' looks might count against you.
