No, you need gold plated unidirectional OFC cables and isolators to stop them picking up stray vibrators

My Brother in Law has powder filled cables that are about as round as a 2p coin
I laugh at his stupidity. He goes to audio shows and shows off just how much better the quality of his mythical cables are.

I use 2 core mains flex. Fucking great stuff and sturdy too.

You should never pick up a stray vibrator

it's audiophile bollocks
Golf plating helps stop corrosion on the ends, that's about it. OFC cable is oxygen free copper, costs a bomb makes jack shit difference, unidirectional is as laughable as fuck cos it's alternating current that has to go both ways and if you think speaker cables pick up vibrations there really is no hope for you. All bullshit designed to part rich idiots from their cash.

13 amp mains cable with decent ends ftw, unless you have some kind of PA rig which might need a higher current rating.

golf plating?
is that to help you get it into the hole in one?
(, Wed 10 Dec 2014, 15:31, Reply)
golf plating is iron

That will have almost all gone over her head.
The only thing I can be certain of is that she's currently ordering a pair of £300.00 speaker cables and gold plated optical lead.

do they do a pink one?

(, Wed 10 Dec 2014, 15:32, Reply)
I found a male to male lead in pink.
They weren't gold plated though, so I bet the tips of the plug will go rusty if given chance.
(, Wed 10 Dec 2014, 15:37, Reply)
male to male, eh? sounds a bit gay

(, Wed 10 Dec 2014, 15:38, Reply)
Hence the rusty plugs

(, Wed 10 Dec 2014, 15:39, Reply)

I do like the way it says precisely fuck all about the actual piece of wire
but wastes the whole page on a load of guff about the designer working for NASA etc. Could be made of wet string for all you can tell.
