That is how socialism is supposed to work, y'know.
Apart from the tax avoidance part, obviously. Maybe that's a tactic to ingratiate themselves with the New Right - after all, avoiding paying your taxes shows how smart you are.

Are ukip particularly left wing? I thought they'd just duped the working classes by playing to their social conservatism?

i don't think they are
but I know a fair few northern diehard labour voters who voted ukip in the last election. so they must be appealing to the left somehow!
