This is a question Prejudice

"Are you prejudiced?" asks StapMyVitals. Have you been a victim of prejudice? Are you a columnist for a popular daily newspaper? Don't bang on about how you never judge people on first impressions - no-one will believe you.

Scientologists
There's just something about their weird perversion of scientific method and ethos that rubs me up the wrong way.

I think you might be confusing them with the Christian Science people
Scientology is the evil cult, separate you from your family sort of thing. They try to get you to donate everything you own, which then seems to go on paying for cease and desist orders.

But I know what you mean. I've read about the scientologists and they truly scare me.

Ooh, them too.
Yes, the CS people are also weirdly batty.

But at least they don't try to infiltrate the government, inject you full of vitamins till you die, run enforced labour, wear pretend Navy uniforms, or most bizarre of all, believe that Battlefield Earth was worth turning into a film.

Ha, I read an interview with the Battlefield Earth scriptwriter recently
He said he only hung out at the Scientology place to get chicks...and he was as appalled by the (changes they had made to the) finished movie as everyone else

Battlefield Earth
Hmm, as if the source material was a masterpiece of writing.

I thought the book was a bloody good read
If it was filled in with any indoctrinating pseudo-scientology clap trap, then it went right over my head. As a pure sci-fi book though, it's epic.

Hmm, I suspect your thetans are out of alignment
Try this Scientology approved homeopathic medicine.

Yeah, they piss me off to. Especially when they turned up in Haiti after the recent earthquake, to distribute copies of the book of Hubbard. Wankers.

Scientologists are funny.
Bless 'em.

I'm suspicious of them...
Sounds to me like a massive tax scam for all these hollywood actors jumping on the Scientology wagon. What a good way to donate millions to shore up a minor religious organisation, then effectively live tax free at the various sites across the world in absolute luxury with enslaved followers at your disposal.
