A guy I used to know works with him.
He's far from stupid, though. He came first in the entire year at Oxford, corrected a mistake in his exam paper and had several papers published whilst still an undergraduate. People started calling him 'Professor' after a while.

but can he Riverdance?
If I was him, I would have replaced that wheelchair with a big walking robot thing, or at least a tracked vehicle that looked like Sir Killalot off Robot Wars, but 8 feet high

I would have done what a character in a Neal Stephenson book does:
I'd buy an airport firetruck, or similar, and make that into my "wheelchair". Actually, if I were intelligent enough I'd have done it already, regardless of the state of my lower limbs and their connectivity.
