Oh dear, what's the situation?
contractions or another kind of complication?

Edit: Is it the L&D? They're very good at that kind of thing, both keeping pregnancies going and dealing with very tinies.

they think it's very early labour
bump has had steriods fot thr lungs just in case, and wifey is currently being monitored like a hawk,
also baby has gone very low down, and there was slight evidence of waters breaking but that is unconfirmed

but on a good note they have told us she can have her mobile on in her room as long as it's off when the monitors come into the room

edit: yes it's the L&D
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 21:42, archived)
hospital TV is a rip off
and you don't need it.

also: good luck, and welcome to parenthood, it's a bumpy ride and there are no exits. Just hang on and hope for the best

that would put her at around 32/33 weeks - which means that babys lungs will be on the way to being very well developed, my nephew was born at 32 weeks and they kept him in NICU for a few weeks till he got a bit bigger and my SIL established Breastfeeding with him.

Fingers crossed and hugs
