Oddly enough, Cribbins had a minor recurring role in a series of gay (very)softcore "Leather Johnny" porno movies made in the early sixties, just before he got his big break (they were "Quota Quickies", subsidised by the 1927 Film Act). He wore a similar outfit in those.
