The Mail have found him guilty of being more popular than David Cameronof not being David Cameron, of being likely to take votes from David Cameron and keep the Tories out of office, and of not being David Cameron. The Daily Mail website's front page today is an astonishing mess of fabricated and desperately-spun smear attacks on him.
