There is no law......against starting a new thread without a picture, but bear in mind that the board only holds 20 threads at a time.
Every new post pushes something else into the archive.
Not so important when the board is slow, but at peak times everything moves pretty fast as it is.
Try only ever starting a new thread if you have something of great importance/interest otherwise you can always hijack another thread.
