RPS was shite because loads of lurkers suddenly came out the wood work and flooded the place with photography as opposed to shopped pics as /board was intended for.

Plus most didn't have any grasp of optimisation

Ultimately, the bloke who runs this place doesn't like it. There are plenty of web sites you can display your photographic efforts, /board was never intended to be one of them.

Put them into an existing thread if you want to share :)

If I was king of marketing, I'd stick it in as another tab, so there would be:
board/talk/links/photos/calendar/qotw/challenges/fun shit/faq

I don't visit talk, it scares me, but if RPS does not belong on /board, surely someone can find space?

provided they are cool/interesting/funny. The main trouble with real photo sunday was most of the photos were shite.

I can always look at flickr when I want to wade through pages and pages of shitty photos.
